In the area, Zizzi is a much better choice: http://www.trusted-gourmet.com/2009/06/italian-restaurant-zizzi-73-75-the-strand-covent-garden-london-wc2r-0de/
I will do a revisit next week.

A friend of mine had been raving about this place, so I finally went a few months ago with a colleague from work as they had (still have?) a slightly deceiving £5 lunch deal, where you can 1 of 3 or 4 pizzas + a soda. I was sorely disappointed. I just had a classic margherita, and it was wholly uninspiring, especially as the ginourmous oven is such a feature of the place. It wasn't very crisp and was just average tasting all around. I think I'll head elsewhere when my stomach begins rumbling for pizza next time.
